From the Committee

The Minutes of the September Committee meeting have been posted on the Club Noticeboard.

The Committee met most recently on 12th October. Items discussed included:

• the 5-Year Strategic Finance Plan
• the quarterly review of progress against the 2026 Annual Plan
• tournament prize guidelines
• payment of tournament Directors and Scorers
• the 2027 Programme Book
• the 2027 Learners lessons programme and arrangements, and other learning and development issues
• initial planning for the Christmas function
• Part 2 of the Membership Survey results
• recent changes to the Tournament Regulations

The next scheduled Committee meeting is on 10th November. An additional meeting to discuss our insurance position with our broker, and to consider the budget forecast, will be held on 16th November.
