Alternative Methods for getting Blog Update Notifications

Using RSS
An alternative method is to use the "Subscribe to Hugh's News" feature (also located in the right hand sidebar) to set up what's called an Atom Feed.

To use an Atom feed, first install a free app called Feedly on your phone, tablet or computer, then select "Atom" from the "Posts" dropdown, and select Feedly from the options at the top of the page that appears next.

Alternatively, you can copy the feed web address (https://lukos90.blogspot.com) and manually paste it into Feedly, allowing you to automatically receive updates from the site in a consolidated format; essentially, subscribing to the feed so you can view new content without manually visiting the website each time.

Using your browser
Another easy method if you're using Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your browser is to download and install the RSS Feed Reader extension from the Chrome Web Store (Google) or the Edge Add-ons Store (Microsoft). The Google extension should also work in other well-known browsers such as Opera and Vivaldi.

Using Email
Some email apps (in particular Thunderbird) allow you to subscribe directly in the app (Microsoft Outlook should also do this) - but unfortunately it appears GMail does not.

If all of this sounds complicated or you'd like some help, please don't hesitate to let me know.
